Grounded in the theoretical frameworks of Constructivism, Context-Based Learning, and Scientific Literacy, this article analyzes the importance of designing science instruction through real-life situations and relevant experiences. Examples of learning activities and classroom-based case studies—such as analyzing drinking water quality or investigating chemical products at home—are provided to demonstrate how everyday contexts can be transformed into powerful learning environments. Furthermore, the article presents five key pedagogical recommendations: using real-world questioning as a starting point, developing contextualized learning materials, supporting systemic collaboration between schools and communities, enhancing teacher professional development in contextual pedagogy, and employing assessment strategies aligned with meaningful learning outcomes. The article ultimately argues that science learning rooted in everyday contexts can empower students to connect classroom knowledge with the real world, cultivating scientifically literate individuals capable of living responsibly and sustainably.
2025-06-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Educational Innovation https://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIREI/article/view/4670 Operational Supporting Factors Influencing Organizational Loyalty Among Security Personnel at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage 2025-03-22T12:16:14+07:00 Vason Kirdsawasd vason2555@gmail.com Sahapat Homchan sahaphat4832@gmail.com
The midterm resignation of security personnel at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage poses a significant challenge to the efficiency of organizational operations. One of the primary causes of this issue is the level of organizational loyalty among security personnel. This study aimed to: (1) examine the level of operational supporting factors influencing organizational loyalty among security personnel; (2) investigate the relationship between operational supporting factors and organizational loyalty; and (3) propose approaches for enhancing operational supporting factors to improve organizational loyalty among security personnel. The research employed a mixed-methods approach. For the quantitative study, the target population comprised all 124 security personnel at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage. Data were collected using questionnaires, and the analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation to examine relationships. The qualitative study involved interviews with 12 key informants. The findings indicated that all 11 operational supporting factors were rated at a high level and demonstrated a positive and statistically significant correlation with organizational loyalty among security personnel at the university, at the 0.01 level of significance. Recommendations for enhancing operational supporting factors to improve organizational loyalty included prioritizing the promotion of job security, interpersonal relationships, and governance and supervision within the organization
2025-06-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Educational Innovation https://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIREI/article/view/5187 The Impact of Teamwork on Creative Making of Traditional Spider Web Flags (Tung Yai Mangmum) among Grade 8 Students 2025-05-22T11:00:36+07:00 Sittiya Srijunkaew sandy.sittiya@gmail.com Areerut Sankham sandy.sittiya@gmail.com
This research aimed to study the group work behavior, creativity, and satisfaction of Grade 8 students who participated in the activity of crafting traditional spider web flags (Tung Yai Mangmum). The study employed a group process framework to enhance student learning. The target population consisted of 160 students. Research instruments included a group work observation form, a creativity assessment form, and a satisfaction questionnaire. All tools were verified for content validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that students' group work behavior was at a very good level (mean = 3.26), particularly in the aspect of mutual support. Creativity in the flag-making task was rated at a good level (mean = 2.97), showing students' ability to select appropriate materials, apply thoughtful designs, and produce neat and original work. Student satisfaction with the activity was at a high level (mean = 4.49), especially in terms of engagement and knowledge gained. These findings indicate that the activity effectively promoted learning through practice, social skills, creativity, and positive learning attitudes.
2025-06-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Educational Innovation https://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIREI/article/view/5203 Brand leadership of School Administrators affecting the Quality of Teachers in Schools under Primary Educational Service Area Office in the Lower Northern Provincial Cluster 2025-05-23T10:40:24+07:00 Somchai Thepsaeng Somchai17@hotmail.com Atchariya Thepsaeng Somchai17@hotmail.com Pornrat Langkasutra Somchai17@hotmail.com
The purposes of this research were to study 1) the level of brand leadership of school administrators and the quality of teachers in schools 2) the relationship between brand leadership and the quality of teachers in schools, and 3) the brand leadership affecting the quality of teachers in schools. The samples consisted of 857 teachers in schools under Primary Educational Service Area Office in the Lower Northern Provincial Cluster, Academic Year 2024 by Multi-stage Sampling. The instruments used for data collection were 5 point-rating scale questionnaires. The data analysis was done by mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression.
The research results were found as following 1.The level of brand leadership of school administrators and the quality of teachers in schools under Primary Educational Service Area Office in the Lower Northern Provincial Cluster as a whole and each individual aspect were at high level. 2.There was a statistically significant relationship at 0.05 between brand leadership and the quality of teachers in schools. 3.The brand leadership affecting the quality of teachers in schools under Primary Educational Service Area Office in the Lower Northern Provincial Cluster at 0.05 level of significance with a predictive value of 36%.
2025-06-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Educational Innovation https://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JIREI/article/view/5207 Antibacterial Activity of Citrus hystrix Extracts and Their Application in Foot Deodorant Spray Development 2025-05-24T11:43:14+07:00 Kamonrat Nateesinsub kamomrat@pnru.ac.th Kannika Ngoebudkote kannika.ann1922@gmail.com Sorot Phungtat sorot.p@pnru.ac.th Pradit Wangman kamomrat@pnru.ac.th
This research aimed to (1) investigate the antibacterial activity of kaffir lime (Citrus hystrix) leaf and peel extracts against Staphylococcus aureus, FT Isolate 1, and FT Isolate 2—bacteria isolated from individuals with foot odor—and (2) develop a herbal foot deodorant spray using the most effective extract. The antibacterial activity was assessed using the agar well diffusion method. The results showed that the peel extract exhibited greater inhibition against all three bacterial strains compared to the leaf extract. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) of the peel extract were both 125 µg/ml for all tested strains. The peel extract at the MIC level was then used to formulate a herbal foot spray. The final product was re-evaluated for antibacterial activity using the same method, and the results confirmed that the spray effectively inhibited the growth of all three bacterial strains. In conclusion, Citrus hystrix peel extract and its derived herbal spray demonstrated significant potential for controlling odor-causing bacteria on the feet.
2025-06-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Educational Innovation
