It also focuses on the types of disputes under the jurisdiction of the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center, as well as the causes or constraints that affect the decision to refer disputes to the mediation process of the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center. The researcher used the qualitative research approach by collecting data through documentary research and in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using the content analysis techniques.

The study found that disputes within the jurisdiction of the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center, under Sections 8, 20, 69, and 35 of the Dispute Mediation Act cover only civil matters. These disputes encompass inheritance disputes between heirs, disputes of value no more than five hundred thousand baht (or the amount specified in the royal decree), land disputes that do not involve property rights, and other disputes outlined in the royal decree. The disputes must not involve family rights, personal status rights, or property rights, nor should they involve criminal matters or disputes related to criminal cases under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile and Family Court, in accordance with the juvenile and family court law and procedures, as these types of disputes are not eligible for mediation under this Act. Criminal disputes that are eligible for mediation under this Act include offences classified as misdemeanour crimes under the Penal Code, specifically Section 390 to Section highlighted the following problems: 1) Problems related to the operation of the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center, 2) Problems regarding the qualifications of mediators at the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center, and 3) Problems related to the characteristics of disputes within the scope of the mediation authority of the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center.

The recommendations suggest improving the capacity of personnel at the Public Sector Dispute Mediation Center to enhance their knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance to the public. It is also recommended that the required minimum age for mediators be set at thirty-five years or older. The most important factor for a mediator is the ability to establish trust and credibility with the parties involved and ensure that all parties accept the mediator. Furthermore, it is suggested that the types of cases eligible for mediation be broadened. The proposal includes expanding the mediation authority of the public sector, as well as revising the law to raise the financial thresholds for mediating civil disputes within the public sector.
2025-04-24T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences Journalhttps://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/dpssj/article/view/4655Teachers’ Perspectives on English as an International Language at a University in Thailand2025-03-02T21:54:59+07:00Pat Watanasin patwatanasin@gmail.com
This study seeks to investigate teachers' viewpoints regarding their comprehension of English as an International Language within a university setting in Thailand. This study was conducted with the purpose to examine influence of Western culture in the musical Tukkata Yod Rak.Qualitative research methodology was employed, including data collection through relevant documents, interviews with experts, observations and the synthesis and analysis of the gathered information. The findings were then summarized and presented as descriptive analysis.

Research results showed that Tukkata Yodrak musical play has been significantly influenced by Western culture in all aspects, as follows: 1) Structural Influence – as the play was adapted from The Enchanted Doll, a work by an English author. 2) Performance Style Influence – the performance could be found reflecting inspiration from Tableau Vivant technique, where performers stand still like painted figures instead of actively portraying dolls. 3) Performance Elements Influenced by Western Culture - the following elements were observed: (1) Gestures and movements – Inspired by Western opera, particularly the act of clenching and releasing hand gestures. (2) Music – Influenced by Western melodies, leading to the creation of Thai songs with Western-style tunes. (3) Costume design – as could be observed in the musical Tukkata Yodrak, the costumes reflected western influences, featuring Raj Pattern jackets, hats, socks, and shoes. Women also wore silk blouses and dresses tailored in a Western style, clearly showcasing the integration of Western culture into Thai Society. (4) Stage and scenery – the stage design resembled Western theater, incorporating scene transitions and set changes to enhance realism. These components contributed to the uniqueness and novelty of the play and positioned Tukkata Yodrak, a contemporary musical with potential for international recognition. Furthermore, it serves as a guideline for enhancing and preserving the performance style of Thai musical theater while ensuring its continuity and cultural conservation.
2025-04-24T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences Journalhttps://so08.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/dpssj/article/view/4771A Model for Managing and Developing Small Schools Through a Mentoring Process to Enhance Teachers' Integrated Teaching Efficiency and Develop Analytical Thinking Skills of Primary School Students in Phetchaburi Province 2025-03-14T18:55:52+07:00Nawarat Prathumta nawarat.pra@mail.pbru.ac.thWeerawat Chantharattana ssu26003@hotmail.comDuangporn Sukhthitiphat aj.yooie30@gmail.com
This research aimed to develop and examine the effects of a management and development model for small schools utilizing the mentor school approach. The study explored the relationship between key influencing factors and customer satisfaction toward round-based freight transportation. The population consisted of customers utilizing round-based transportation services, including individuals, retail businesses, e-commerce companies and industrial factories using logistics service providers. The sample was selected using convenience sampling. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were employed for data analysis.

The findings revealed that the timeliness of delivery had a significantly positive influence on customer satisfaction (𝛽 = 0.629, p < .05). Similarly, service reliability demonstrated a statistically significant influence, despite the model’s moderate explanatory power (R² = .123). The application of tracking technologies also showed a positive impact, highlighting the importance of technological development to enhance service efficiency. Interestingly, increased transportation costs did not negatively affect satisfaction; rather, they showed a significantly positive impact, reflecting customers’ expectations for quality over price. These findings can be used to develop strategies for enhancing competitiveness in the logistics industry.
2025-04-24T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences Journal
