Project Study and Development of Jewelry Design from Tie Dye Fabric

Abstract

The study and development of accessory design from tie-dye fabrics were conducted to investigate physical limitations in maintaining the shape of tie-dye fabrics. It was used to create accessories and develop appropriate designs to represent the colorful and patterned tie-dye fabrics and consistent with the desired objectives, which are to the study and development of accessory design from tie-dye fabrics, and to find satisfaction in terms of beauty and usability of the target group. The researchers collected data on tie-dye fabrics and accessories, and then conducted preliminary interviews to analyze the directions for designing accessories from tie-dye fabrics that received feedback from a sample of 50 people. The conclusion was that wristbands, necklaces, and earrings were the most popular types of accessories, and most people want accessories made from tie-dyed fabric to have cool colors that are pleasing to the eye and geometric shapes in a minimalist style, which were usually purchased as rewards for oneself. The accessories were considered beautiful, simple, and versatile, suitable for everyday wear, with a relatively small size. In addition, the researchers explored and studied the use of epoxy resin in making accessories from tie-dye fabrics, which helped maintain the shape of the accessories well. The epoxy resin also enhanced the colors and added beauty to the tie-dye fabrics. After gathering all the information, it was used as a guideline for designing accessories from tie-dye fabrics.
