Relationship Between Transformational Leadership and Effectiveness of Providing Community Public Health Services of Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the effectiveness of providing community public health services at Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province, 2) to study the transformational leadership of Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province, and 3) to study the relationship between the transformational leadership and the effectiveness of providing public health services at Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province. The participants of this research were 367 people. The research instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. The collected data was examined using frequency, mean, standard deviation, multiple linear regression, and correlation. The results revealed that 1) The overall transformational leadership of Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province was at a relatively high level; 2) The overall effectiveness of providing community public health services at Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province was at a relatively high level; 3) The multiple linear regression test showed that the aspects, i.e., individualised consideration, idealised influence, intellectual stimulation, and inspiration motivation, had a relationship with the effectiveness of providing community public health services at Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province. This indicated the change in the effectiveness of providing community public health services of Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province by 47.1 percent. For the correlation statistical analysis, it revealed that the aspects, i.e., idealised influence, inspiration motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualised consideration, had a positive relationship with the effectiveness of providing community public health services of Baan Kadad Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, Prasat District, Surin Province at a moderate level.
