DEVELOPMENT OF A SET OF GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE SELF-UNDERSTANDING AND CAREER CHOICE OF MATTHAYOM 5 STUDENTS

Abstract
The objective of this research were : (1) to compare the self-understanding and career choice of Matthayom 5 students before and after participation in the guidance activities package, and (2) to study students’ satisfaction with the package. The participants were 35 Matthayom 5 students at Surathampitak School, semester 2, academic year 2024, selected by purposive sampling. The instruments consisted of six guidance activities, a self-understanding and career choice questionnaire and a satisfaction survey. The data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, and Paired-Sample t-test. The findings revealed that post-test scores were significantly higher than pre-test scored at the .01 level, and students reported a high level of satisfaction with the program.
