EFFECTS OF THE LEARNERS' DEVELOPMENT ACITIVITIES MANAGEMENT STUDY ACCORDING TO THE COMPETEENCIES FOR 21ST CENTURY OF BACHELOR DEGREE STUDENTS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) To study the understanding about 21st century competencies of students in early childhood education programs, Faculty of Education. 2) To study the satisfaction of students in early childhood education programs on the learners’ development activities management to the competencies for 21st century. The samples were 55 bachelor degree students in early childhood education. The fifty-five students were selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study were the test of knowledge and understanding about competencies in the 21st century and the assessment for satisfaction of students in early childhood education programs on the learners’ development activities management to the competencies for 21st century.
The result of the research revealed that: 1) The understanding of students in early childhood education programs after experienced the learners’ development activities management to the competencies for 21st century was significantly higher than that of the pre-test at the 0.5 level. 2) The satisfaction on the learners’ development activities management to the competencies for 21st century of the students in early childhood education programs as a whole was at high level.
