AN EVALUATION OF AN INTERNAL QUALITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF BANROMKLAO 4 SCHOOL UNDER TAK PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to evaluate an internal quality assurance system development project of Banromklao 4 School under Tak Primary Education Service Area Office 2 in three aspects, namely: 1) Input , 2) Process, and 3) Output and to determine the ways to develop an internal quality assurance system development project of Banromklao 4 School. The sample consisted of 1 school administrator, 3 project responsible teachers, 24 teachers, 117 grade 4-6 students, 82 grade 7-9 students, and 17 experts in the development of internal quality assurance system development project. The tools used for data collection were questionnaires and interview forms. Data were analyzed using software packages to analyze mean , standard deviation , frequency, and ranking.
The research results indicated as follows: 1. Overall evaluation of an internal quality assurance system development project of Banromklao 4 School under Tak Primary Education Service Area Office 2 was at a high level. The evaluative results indicated that the project met the evaluation criteria. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean of suitability was Process, followed by Input, and Output, respectively.
1.1 The opinions of administrator and teachers towards Input were at the high level. The evaluative results indicated that this aspect met the evaluation criteria. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was Place.
1.2 The opinions of administrator and teachers towards Process were at the high level. The evaluative results indicated that this aspect met the evaluation criteria. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was Planning.
1.3 The opinions of administrator and teachers towards Output were at the high level. The evaluative results indicated that this aspect met the evaluation criteria. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was Systematic internal quality assurance system to support the 4th round of external quality assessment. In addition, the opinions of students towards Output were at the high level. The evaluative results indicated that this aspect met the evaluation criteria. When individual aspects were considered, an aspect with the highest mean was Efficient learning management. 2. The ways to develop an internal quality assurance system development project of Banromklao 4 School under Tak Primary Education Service Area Office 2 according to experts’ opinions could be concluded as follows: 1) activities should be organized for the participation of community and parents in students’ learning, 2) budget should be allocated and used to meet the school’s plan and the context, 3) maximum utilization of materials, tools, and equipment should be considered, and 4) the collaboration between a school and other agencies involved in being a learning source should be promoted.
