STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF USING SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY LEARNING DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT WAT UBEKKHA RAM SCHOOL, KAMPHAENG PHET PROVINCE

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study effects of using science and technology learning development activities on junior high school students. This study determined the learning achievement of students before and after participating the activities and investigated students’ collaborative skills, attitudes and satisfaction towards science activities. The subjects were 33 junior high school students of Wat Ubekkha Ram School, Kamphaeng Phet Province obtained by purposive sampling. Instruments used in the research were (1) activities of science and technology learning development, (2) the students’ learning achievement test, (3) collaborative skills test, (4) attitude toward science test and (5) the students’ satisfaction survey form. The statistical method employed for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results were (1) The students’ learning achievement were higher after the treatment with a statistical significance (2) The collaborative skills of students after using learning activities were high level (3) The attitude toward science of students after learning activities were high level (4) The satisfaction of students after learning activities were highest level
