Attitudes and Behaviors in Japanese Language Learning of the Low Proficient Japanese Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop achievement using The 4 MAT teaching model combination with The Exercises on The Thai words borrow from other languages for students of Mathayomsuksa 3, AksornPattaya School 2) to study academic achievement using The 4 MAT teaching model combination with The Exercises on The Thai words borrow from other languages for students of Mathayomsuksa 3, AksornPattaya School. The population’s students of Mathayomsuksa 3 from AksornPattaya School in the first semester of the 2018 academic year. There were 3 classrooms and 54 students. The samples were 20 students of Mathayomsuksa 3 per 1 classroom were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments collected by 1) The lesson plan of the 4 MAT teaching model, 2) The Exercises on The Thai words borrow from other languages for students of Mathayom 3 and 3) The examination of academic achievement for students of Mathayomsuksa 3 on The Thai words borrow from other languages. The statistics used for analyzing data were frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test dependent samples The results of the study were as follows: 1) The 4 MAT teaching model combination with The Exercises on The Thai words borrow from other languages for students of Mathayomsuksa 3, AksornPattaya School the efficiency at 92.33/80.63 2) The academic achievement for students of Matayomsuksa 3 on The Thai words borrow from other languages after used learning activity Package Mean = 32.25, S.D. = 2.63 was higher than before using learning activity Mean = 30.95, S.D. = 2.58. The results revealed that were significantly different in academic achievement ability at the .05 level.
