The research on Children’s Play: The Evolution of Play and reflection of the mother-child relationship in ceramic artworks aimed to study the children’s play in ancient and modern times, in order to compare and analyze the relationship between play both eras and lead to the creations of ceramic artworks that can show the fun of playing and the ways children play that reflect the love and relationship between mother and child, by studing documentary data, analyzing the influence of social, political, cultural, and economic factors on children’s play in ancient and modern times. Furthermore, the fieldwork for researching the environment and playing behavior of his/her own children for the sake of showing the highlights of the ancient play that showed creativity and concept throughout ceramic artworks by creating four ceramic artworks that show the relationship between mother and child: Hide and seek, Old Wolf, Old Wolf, what time is it?, Go out to play, and Make a wish.
