The Value of an Artist’s Songs in the Bodyslam Band to Encourage Ways of Life

The objective of this research was to analyze the value of the Bodyslam artists songs. Qualitative research method was used in this research. The 12 body slams songs from 2003 to 2020 were analyzed, considering the direct and implicit meanings of the lyrics that reflect the value of the substance in terms of life. The values of message from the songs of the Bodyslam artists include 1) encouragement way of life between lovers, friends and family, 2) inspiring people through obstacles to reach the destination of life, and 3) encouraging people about the dream making to be the truth especially in youth groups which is a group of people with little life experience. The songs of the Bodyslam artists had brought the music to encourage, create an impetus to fight when you are feeling down, and motivate people to come out to do what they want to success.
