A Study of Thai Reading Comprehension Achievement Under Standing Level Through Group Process of Grade 4 Students at Santa Cruz Convent School

The purpose of this research were to 1) compare Thai reading comprehension at understanding level through group process for Grade 4 students at Santa Cruz Convent School and 2) study students satisfaction towards group process. The sample group included 35 Grade 4 students obtained through simple random sampling. The research tools involved 1) lesson plans 2) pretest and posttest and 3) a set of questionnaire. Data were statistically analyzed by MEAN, standard deviation, and paired t-test for dependent samples.The findings of this research revealed that:1. Thai reading comprehension at understanding level through group process for Garde 4 students at Santa Cruz Convent School was significantly at 0.05 2. The students satisfaction towards group process of Grade 4 students at Santa Cruz Convent School was generally found at the highest level ( = 4.67, S.D. = .37).
