The People Participation in Activities Management of Na-Dee Municipality Amphoe Meuang Samutsakhon Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study people participation in Activity management of Na-dee municipality and to compare between people’s participation and personal factors. The sample size of 250 number sampling from households Moo 1 BanKoktanut Amphoe meuang, Samutsakhon Province. Questionairs was used in collecting data. Frequency, percentage, Standardiviation, t-Test, and One – Way Anova were used for Statistical analysis.

This Research found the personal factors of the sample that 51.6 % of them are Male, 31.2 % are in age of 31-35 years, 26 % finished high school level, 39.2 %are employee us, and 28.4 % live in the area of this study for 20 years long. The level of people participation are at moderate. In Considering the relation between the people participation and the personal factors comparatively found that people participation related to age of people significantly. Other of personal factors as sex, educational levels, occupation and length of living in the area are not relating to people participation. In addition it also found some suggestion that Though the age of people is very important for participation in activity management, There are some other issues to consider. There are priority time and place, travelling facilitation and activity management focusing on helping people in their community
