Abstract

The world has rapidly been changing. Apart from affecting everyday life in many aspects it has also affected communication using language as a tool. The most important is electronic communication tools, such as Internet and mobile phones which has made communication much easier. In addition, there is an application called ‘Speaky’ which is becoming very popular, whereas, the language used for communication through these applications must be compact, quick, and able understand individual and group communication. Therefore, it directly impacts on the use of English for communication by Speaky applications. Speaking English in this application has focused on interactive writing with foreigners. People interested to talk can talk with foreigners from more than 50 countries. Therefore, this application is focused on practicing writing skills in English and other languages around the world, and it can also be downloaded for free at the application store.
