ตามที่ปรากฎในสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ว่า มีผู้เขียนบทความวิจัยอาจกระทำผิดหลักการเป็นผู้ประพันธ์ (Authorship) รวมทั้งจริยธรรมและจรรยาบรรณการวิจัย อันส่งผลให้สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) ขอให้หน่วยงานในสังกัดตรวจสอบการตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิจัยนั้น
กองบรรณาธิการ วารสารการจัดการกีฬาสมัยใหม่ จึงขอประกาศเจตนารมณ์ ดังนี้
1. ไม่ยอมรับการกระทำใดๆ ที่ผิดต่อหลักการเป็นผู้ประพันธ์รวมทั้งจริยธรรมและจรรยาบรรณการวิจัยในทุกกรณี
2. ทุกบทความที่ถูกส่งให้วารสารการจัดการกีฬาสมัยใหม่พิจารณาตีพิมพ์ จะได้รับการตรวจสอบอย่างเคร่งครัด
ตามหลักการเป็นผู้ประพันธ์ รวมทั้งจริยธรรมและจรรยาบรรณการวิจัย

Sport Management Association of Thailand (SMAT) generates Journal of Modern Sport Management (JMSM) to continues sport management wisdoms gathering, after Journal of Sport Management Association of Thailand (JSMAT) had ceased publication in B.E. 2559.
The goal of the JMSM divided into 3 phases;
B.E. 2565 (2022) Establishes all system regarding to the Thai Citation Index (TCI).
B.E. 2566 (2023) Develops quality research and academic articles of 8 manuscripts per issues, 2 issues per year within 3 years. Total manuscripts are 48.
B.E. 2568 (2024) Be accredited by TCI for group 2.
We encourage all scholars and interesting researchers submit innovative empirical, theoretical, and review articles related, but not limited to, sport management.
