The Journal of Modern Sport Management (JMSM) has continuously accepted manuscript submissions for its fourth consecutive year and has published a total of 16 articles to date, comprising 9 research articles, 6 academic articles, and 1 book review. The journal continues to pursue its primary objective of obtaining quality certification from the Thai Citation Index (TCI).
The Editorial Board anticipates submitting the JMSM for quality assessment in the 5th evaluation round (2025–2029) and meeting both the primary and secondary evaluation criteria. Among these, the secondary criteria strictly emphasized by the Editorial Board concern the quality of journal articles (5 points), which include clarity of abstracts, quality and alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, article readability, and originality and contribution to the body of knowledge.
For JMSM, Volume 4, Issue 2 (July–December 2025), three research articles have successfully passed the peer-review process conducted by qualified experts. These articles include: 1) The Feasibility Study of Investment of Sports Complex in Minburi District, Bangkok 2) Strategic Management Framework for Student-Athletes in Thailand National Sports University: Integrating LTAD and SPLISS Models; and 3) A Lean Management Approach to Developing a Microsoft Excel Scoring Calculator for Decathlon and Heptathlon.
In my capacity as JMSM Editor, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Association President, the Executive Committee, members of the Sports Management Association of Thailand, the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and contributing authors for their continued support, collaboration, and significant contributions in maintaining the academic quality of the articles published in the JMSM through Volume 4, Issue 2.
It is my earnest hope that all stakeholders will continue to support the journal in the forthcoming issue, Volume 5, Issue 1 (January–June 2026), as we prepare to apply for quality certification in the 5th evaluation cycle.
With my highest appreciation and respect.
