A MODEL FOR DRIVING SOFT POWER THROUGH LOCAL CULTURE IN NAKHON SAWAN

Objectives of this research paper were: 1. To analyze the elements that drive the soft power of local culture in Nakhon Sawan. 2. Create a model for driving soft power in Nakhon Sawan by local culture, and 3. To evaluate the quality of the model for driving soft power in Nakhon Sawan by local culture. The key contributors and samples for the analysis consisted of 16 selected key contributors and 826 non-probability selected samples. 9 key contributors for the creation of the selected format, while 9 key contributors for the quality assessment of the selected format. The research tools included interviews, questionnaires, expert seminar questions and assessments. Quantitative data analysis used descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and inferential statistics used exploration component analysis
The research findings revealed that: 1. Eight components were identified in driving soft power through local culture, including: 1.1 vision, goals, and mission development, 1.2 motivation, 1.3 promotion of learning resources, 1.4 collaboration networks and proactive public relations, 1.5 media and technology development, 1.6. cultural preservation and enhancement, 1.7 human resource capacity development, and 1.8 research and development of local wisdom. 2. The developed model consisted of three parts: Part 1; Introduction, which outlines the model’s direction. Part 2; Content and operational guidelines, which detailed the system and mechanisms; and Part 3; Success conditions, which supported implementation. 3 The model demonstrated the highest level of accuracy, appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness.
