OKRs ย่อมาจาก “Objectives and Key Results” เป็นแนวคิดใหม่สำหรับผู้นำในการพัฒนาคุณภาพขององค์กร และนำมาใช้ในการวางแผนการจัดบุคลากรให้สอดคล้องกับพันธกิจและวิสัยทัศน์ขององค์กร กระตุ้นและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้บุคลากรปรับปรุงการปฏิบัติงาน โดยเน้นการมีส่วนร่วม และส่งเสริมการทำงานเป็นทีมเพื่อนำพาองค์กรไปสู่ความสำเร็จอย่างมีคุณภาพ โดย OKRs จัดว่าเป็นเครื่องมือและวิธีการที่สำคัญในการติดตามความก้าวหน้า สร้างความสอดคล้องในการดำเนินงาน โดยเน้นการวัดผลตามเป้าหมายขององค์กร โดยไม่ละเลยเป้าหมายของบุคลากรประกอบด้วยส่วนสำคัญ ได้แก่ วัตถุประสงค์ (Objectives) และผลลัพธ์หลัก (Key results)
