Development of Podcast Media for Teaching Asian History Part 2 for Grade 11 Students

The purposes of this study were: 1) to develop and verify podcast quality of East Asian 2 History of Korea and Ancient Joseon Kingdom, 2) to compare learning achievement before and after using podcast media as part of teaching and learning, and 3) to study satisfaction levels towards watching the podcast. The method involved selecting a purposive sample of 30 individuals, and the research tools included the learning plan of East Asian History of Korea and the Ancient Joseon Kingdom, script, achievement test, and podcast media satisfaction assessment form. The data analysis involved using frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and statistical analysis of differences (t-test).
The results of the study are as follows: 1) The content validity of the podcast media was verified by experts and was deemed effective. 2) The pre-test scores had a mean of 4.20 with a standard deviation of 1.79, while the post-test scores had a mean of 8.73 with a standard deviation of 1.63. The t-test showed a significant improvement in students' grades after using the podcast media, with a t-value of -11.08, at a significance level of 0.05. 3) The satisfaction assessment results for the podcast media were consistently high for all items.
