The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Supply Chain Analytics and its Impact on Supply Chain Performance: A Study through Triple-A Supply Chain Strategy
Main Article Content
Abstract
This academic article aims to examine the role of artificial intelligence in developing supply chain analytics, synthesize the relationship between AI-driven supply chain analytics and Triple-A supply chain capabilities, and propose an integrative conceptual framework linking artificial intelligence, supply chain analytics, Triple-A capabilities, and supply chain performance. The study adopts a literature review and synthesis approach based on 23 relevant academic articles retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. A literature synthesis matrix was used as the analytical tool to classify, analyze, and integrate key findings from prior studies.
The synthesis indicates that artificial intelligence contributes to the development of supply chain analytics in four major dimensions: demand forecasting, real-time decision-making, risk management, and process optimization. AI also strengthens Triple-A capabilities, namely agility, adaptability, and alignment, which serve as strategic mechanisms linking data and analytics to supply chain performance. The article proposes that artificial intelligence should be understood not merely as a technological tool but as a strategic enabler for enhancing supply chain performance in digital supply chains.
