MODIFYING THE DOCUMENT STORGAGE PROCESSUSING THE CONCEPT OF DESIGN THINKING TO UPGRADE TO A SMART OFFICE

Abstract

The progress of information technology has greatly developed and contributes to making work easier, faster, more flexible and more efficient. Thus, the storage, search and routing of documents inside and outside the organization can be more efficient compared to the traditional methods where the document is in paper form. But converting the original document process to the electronic document format to facilitate the benefits and maximum efficiency in this work requires a number of components. For example, a budget, a system, and the appropriate equipment. The most important thing is the participation of all stakeholders. This paper presents the application of the concept of design thinking in the process of transforming document storage processes to improve the work to a smart office. From the process of understanding the problem, clarifying the problem, brainstorming, selected prototyping, to the testing phase using the example of the Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture Office (public organization) document format. In the near future, this academic work can be presented as an advanced research process that is beneficial to academia, society and the nation to promote the sustainability of work processes in smart offices.
