Desk Rejection Policy
To ensure the quality and efficiency of the editorial process, the Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions without sending them for peer review under any of the following circumstances:
- The manuscript does not comply with the journal’s submission and formatting requirements, including the abstract, in-text citations, reference list, and other components specified in the journal template.
- The manuscript falls outside the journal’s aims and scope.
- The manuscript is not submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The manuscript has a similarity index exceeding 30%, as determined by the journal's plagiarism detection software.
Important Notice
Authors are solely responsible for ensuring that all submission information and uploaded files are accurate, complete, and in their final form prior to submission through the ThaiJO system. Any incomplete or incorrect submission information, incorrect file uploads, or other submission errors made by the author(s) are the sole responsibility of the author(s). The Editorial Board will assess manuscripts solely on the basis of the information and files submitted through the ThaiJO system.
Proof of English Language Editing
Failure to provide proof of English language editing at the time of submission may result in desk rejection.
Effective 1 August 2026, all manuscripts submitted in English must be accompanied by proof of English language editing provided by a qualified language editor, a professional editing service, or a professional proofreading service. The supporting document must be uploaded together with the manuscript at the time of initial submission.
