Models of crime prevention and safety that are suitable for Local Administrative Organizations of areas that are highly characterized as cities

This research article aims to study and explore models of crime prevention and safety that are suitable for local administrative organizations of areas that are highly characterized as cities. This study consists of qualitative research with case-by-case study characteristics, and with a local administrative organization of an area that is highly characterized as city, which is the Nakorn Rangsit Municipality, as a study unit. The research has been conducted through field study comprising in-depth interviews and focus groups, carried out by selected experts from relevant sectors. Results of the study have shown that models of crime prevention that are suitable for local administrative organizations of areas that are highly characterized as cities are forms of crime prevention with the environment being focused on the establishment of operational cooperation networks because the sample local administative organization has clearly demonstrated that innovation projects, such as the Rangsit City Control and Command Center or RCC Center, have been carried out effectively. Moreover, the conducting of this project involves the establishment of networks with high and comprehensive participation of the people and the determination of duties of beneficiaries of the network are clear.
