APPLICATION OF DHAMMA PRINCIPLES FOR PROMOTING POLITICAL PARTICIPATION

Abstract

This article presented that political participation of Thai people is an important factor affecting the strength of democracy. The application of Dhamma principles is one way that can effectively promote political participation of Thai people. This study focused on analyzing and applying various Dhamma principles, such as the Four Sanghavatthu principles, to promote political participation of Thai people. It was found that the application of Dhamma principles can create better understanding and political participation of Thai people, especially in terms of unity and participation in the community. This study proposed guidelines for applying Dhamma principles to promote political participation of Thai people in the present era, such as using the Four Sanghavatthu principles to create relationships and understanding among people, promoting open dialogue and exchange of opinions, and creating unity and cooperation in solving political problems.
