Abstract

This quantitative research aimed to examine factors of participatory management affecting organizational commitment of personnel under the Pattani Provincial Vocational Education Office. The sample consisted of 300 administrators, teachers, and supporting staff selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that participatory management factors could significantly predict organizational commitment at the .01 level (R² = .980, F = 3534.205, p < .001). Among the predictors, information sharing and communication had the strongest influence (β=.409), followed by participation in decision-making (β=.320), teamwork (β=.251), and empowerment in work performance (β=.049) respectively. The results indicate that transparency communication in organization and the participative in decision making are the two critical mechanism in encouraging organization binding which can be employed as guidelines for developing human resource management of the Pattani Provincial Vocational Education Office.
