Development of an E-Learning Teacher Training Package on Research for Learning Development of Science Teachers at the Fundamental Education

Abstract

          This research aimed to 1) study the results of the E-Learning teacher training assessment package, 2) test the effectiveness of the E-Learning teacher training package on research for learning development of science learning subject group, fundamental education level 3) study the ability of teachers in research to improve learning and 4) study the satisfaction of teachers with E-Learning training. By combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, and key informants were 3 experts in research, 286 teachers of science learning group in primary schools in Nan province. The research instruments were the training assessment form, science teacher questionnaire for E-Learning Teacher Training Series on Research for Learning Development, pre-training and post-training knowledge test, the teacher’s research assessment form, and the teacher satisfaction questionnaire on E-Learning training. Data was analyzed by using statistical software packages. The statistics that was used in the analysis of research data, was percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.
          The results showed that:
          1. E-Learning Teacher Training Package Assessment Results of experts in the structure of the training set is at a very reasonable level. Training activities is at the most appropriate level.
          2. E-learning teacher training series titled Research for Effective Learning Development 78.99/80.98 meets the specified criteria 80/80.
          3. Teachers had higher knowledge and understanding of research for learning development as measured by test results after training than before training. It was statistically significant at the .05 level and teachers were able to apply the knowledge
from the training to practice research for learning development at a good level.
4. Teachers were satisfied with the E-Learning training at a high level.
