Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the Administration according to professional standards of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Sisaket Yasothon 2) to study the management guidelines according to professional standards of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Sisaket Yasothon. The sample group was government teachers and school administrators from 70 schools which are under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Sisaket Yasothon. The number of respondents was 140, consisted of the administrator and a teacher of each school. The research tools were questionnaires and interview forms. Statistics used in data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviatio and content analysis.

The results showed that 1) the Administration according to professional standards of school administrators (knowledge standard) under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Sisaket Yasothon was at the highest level ( = 4.87, S.D. = 0.09) and when considering each standard, it was found that the standard with the highest mean was the 7th standard, morality, ethics and ethics ( = 4.98 , S.D. = 0.02), followed by the 5^th Standard, Activities and Student Activities ( = 4.95, S.D. = 0.02) and the standard with the lowest average was the 6^th Standard, Educational Quality Assurance ( = 4.59 , S.D. = 0.22) 2) the result of the management guidelines according to professional standards of school administrators (knowledge standard) under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Sisaket Yasothon, the results of the analysis of the content of the structured interview to know the guidelines for improving the implementation of educational quality assurance. The researcher interviewed experts on the implementation of educational quality assurance in 6 steps, consisting of setting educational standards of educational institutions, preparation of education development plans of educational institutions that focus on quality according to educational standards of educational institutions, implementation of educational development plans of educational institutions, assessment and quality inspection within educational institutions, follow up on performance to develop educational institutes for quality standards of education, and self-assessment report.
