Abstract

          The development of alternative astringent creams has been popular for a long time due to Herbs with antioxidant properties and reduce the inflammatory mechanism of the wound and promote the wound to regenerate tissue faster. Aloe Vera, Gotu Kola and Burr Phi are local medicinal plants with such properties. Researchers deployed research to develop a wound cream from aloe vera, Gotu Kola and Ghost Splinter and using Vaseline as a binder. This research is an action and development research with research steps as follows: 1. Formula review by reviewing from the wisdom of 3 folk herbal healers 2) Formula issuance and management of knowledge of procedures and methods of production and packaging design 3) Experiment with volunteers 4) Quality assessment Qualifications and satisfaction of volunteers Conduct research during the month January-April 2022. The research instrument used in-depth interview guidelines. Group Discussion Guidelines and product quality assessment form. Results got an aloe vera cream with a mixture of Gotu Kola extract and ghost burr with the same texture, not rancid. and has properties on healing of pressure ulcers in volunteers before 14 days. The volunteers were satisfied in all aspects and can be further developed in the business model.
