This paper briefly reviews the development of Chinese education in Bangladesh and summarizes the development characteristics of each period. It also reflects on the development strategies of Chinese education institutions such as Confucius Institutes in the early days. The paper concludes that the development of Chinese education in Bangladesh in the post-epidemic era should revolve around the social functions: education, academia, commerce, and international exchanges. And it should consider strategies for the development of Chinese teaching, promotion and cooperation. The international Chinese education research strategies should also be explored.
