Desirable Leader of Government Officials at Suan Luang District Office, Bangkok Metropolitan
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study the desired leadership of civil servants in Bangkok
Metropolitan Administration under the Suan Luang District Office. The sample consisted of 107
officers using Taro Yamane's formula as a research tool by collectingnecessary data, and the statistics
used are frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The result of the research showed that most of civil servants in Bangkok Metropolitan
Administration under the Suan Luang District Office are female, the ages range from 30 to 40 years,
married, with Bachelor's degree. Also, they are in a Practitioner Level for 11-20 years of civil service,
and the average monthly income is more than 25,000 Baht. The overall opinion towards the desired
leadership of civil servants in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is at the highest level. When
considered at each point, the researcher found that all the points are at the highest level which can
be summarized in descending order as following: (1) Stable Consciousness (2) Good Adaptation (3)
Friendly Behavior (4) Leadership Characteristics and (5) Intelligence.
