Creative Thinking Development on Logical Reasoning and Problem Solving in Computational Science Technology Subject
Abstract
The development of creative thinking on learning in Computational Science Technology subject on Logical Reasoning is the analysis of reasons for creative problem solving leading to decision-making on solutions. In other words, the logical thinking is “decision-making supported by reasons”. Therefore, the logical thinking is the process of creating a systematic problem-solving habit, decision-making based on reasons rather than emotion, and avoiding thinking and solving problems stuck with the original concepts. Thus, the logical reasoning in problem solving is a method that adopts all comprehensive rules or conditions to determine problems and solutions to predict possible results effectively. The resulting solutions are likely to be often presented systematically or also known as an algorithm because it allows people to solve problems step by step more easily, as well as applying creative thinking and blended learning to generate new, practical, and appropriate ideas and encouraging and developing creative thinking. Creative thinking is the human brain thinking process coupled with the ability to think differently and to generate new ideas which can be applied to the theories or principles carefully and accurately. This leads to the invention and creation of new inventions or new ideas and concepts which can result in development of analysis, planning, lesson design, teaching and learning management and curriculum development focused on students to learn from direct experience to promote to generate new concepts and ideas. This is also an assessment of the effectiveness of the blended learning using creative thinking, teaching and learning management and problem solving.
