STUDENT’S POLITICAL MOVEMENTS ON THE VIRTUAL SPACE

Abstract

The student political movement is interesting in terms of its development. The process of building a social network of students Includes strategies and political movement patterns of students in the virtual space. Because the student political movement has an unavoidable influence on Thailand’s democratic development. The objectives of the research article were 1) to study political ideology student movement from the era of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) to the present and 2) to study the process of creating a virtual space for student political movement. The study method is a qualitative study. The target group has the Northeastern Student Assembly group. student union group Students of Thailand (SNT) and the Student Alliance of MSU for Democracy by using a purposive selection method. Content analysis was employed to dualize data 1) The political ideology of student movements was interested in structural politics and democratic problems. 2) The process of creating a virtual space for student political mobilization by grouping together under important conditions and contexts, namely the changes of the student movement, included The results reveals as follows: 1) the influence popular politics, 2) the intellectuals on the student movement; and 4) important characteristics of the Thai student movement, therefore, the development of democratic behavior among student, under the policy of creating a political ideology and movement with emphasized on structural politics and procedural democratic problems. In addition, democracy should be developed through the election process, and the process of obtaining a democratic government. By giving importance to democracy in the content of the inspection process, political participation and the process of obtaining a democratic government.
