Abstract
Mr. Liu Xun has been deeply devoted himself to the theoretical and applied research of international Chinese teaching methods for many years, and he advocates using the dialectical thinking in Chinese traditional culture to study the problems in international Chinese teaching, so as to improve the foundation of disciplinary methodology. This interview revolves around the issues related to “dialectical thinking and international Chinese pedagogy”. Mr. Liu Xun believes that when the international Chinese teaching enters a new stage of development, the study of Chinese teaching methodology should be based on the correct use of dialectical thinking to study how to deal with the relationship between various factors in teaching. Firstly, to use dialectical thinking properly to study how to deal with the relationship between various factors in teaching, such as: the relationship between teachers and students as the main body of teaching and learning, the relationship between structure, function and culture as the teaching path and content, the relationship between learning and application as the teaching process, etc. Secondly, on the basis of the general principles of second language teaching, we should focus on the characteristics of Chinese language teaching, discover the special rules of Chinese language teaching, establish and improve the teaching method system of Chinese with an innovative spirit. Thirdly, it is necessary to adapt measures to local conditions and time conditions and do a good job in the “localization” of Chinese teaching methods.
