The Journal of Sinology and Chinese Language Education (JSCLE, วารสารจีนวิทยาและการศึกษาภาษาจีนนานาชาติ, 汉学与国际中文教育) is a semi-annual, trilingual academic journal in Chinese, English, and Thai sponsored by the Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University in Thailand.（Print ISSN: 2774-0382; Online ISSN: 2821-9252) . JSCLE aims to facilitate scholarly research in Sinology and international Chinese language teaching and construct a new academic platform for Sinology research and Chinese language education in Thailand. JSCLE is currently one of the few professional research journals in the field of Sinology in Thailand and is accessible through the Thai Journals Online (ThaiJO) system and strictly follows Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) standards. *** The eighth issue of JSCLE has been published, featuring the traditional sections of “Sinology Research” and “Chinese Education,” along with an occasional “Book Review” column. This issue includes a total of ten academic papers and one scholarly book review, comprising eight in Chinese, two in English, and one in Thai. Contributions come from professors, associate professors, assistant professors, lecturers, PhD candidates, and MA students from China, Thailand, Japan, Canada, and the United States, showcasing a diverse array of authors. Notably, the perspectives of young scholars educated at overseas institutions such as the University of Chicago, Université Paris Cité, University College London, the University of Tokyo, and Hiroshima University are particularly innovative. *** All papers published in this journal undergo a rigorous anonymous peer review by three academic experts before publication. This issue’s reviewers include 35 scholars from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand, and China. Furthermore, since the last issue, the journal has applied for Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for the published articles to better align with international academic standards. *** The Journal of Sinology and Chinese Language Education warmly invites experts and scholars from various fields to contribute academic papers and book reviews.
