Vol. 10 No. 2 (2026) (Cumulative Issue No. 11) of the Journal of Sinology and Chinese Language Education (JSCLE) was officially published in August, 2026. The journal conventionally features two principal sections—"Sinological Studies" and "Chinese Education"—alongside an occasional "Book Reviews" column. This current issue presents a total of nine academic research articles and two scholarly book reviews, comprising nine pieces in Chinese, one in English, and one in Thai.

Our contributors for this issue represent a diverse spectrum of academic ranks—ranging from full, associate, and assistant professors to lecturers, as well as doctoral and master’s students. Hailing from China, Thailand, Spain, Germany, the United States, and Ghana, this demographic diversity underscores the journal's commitment to inclusivity and its steadfast support for emerging young scholars.

Before publication, all articles undergo a rigorous anonymous peer-review process conducted by three independent experts. The review panel for this issue comprises 30 distinguished scholars from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Singapore, Thailand, China, and other regions. Furthermore, to better align with international academic publishing standards, JSCLE now registers a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for every published article.

In early 2026, JSCLE submitted an application for inclusion in the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI). The application was deferred due to our previous volume numbering system, which diverged from standard academic publishing conventions by not grouping issues published within the same calendar year under a single volume. In accordance with the constructive recommendations provided by the TCI Centre, we have rectified our numbering format. The current publication is thereby designated as Vol. 10 No. 2 (2026), and the forthcoming issue will be sequentially marked as Vol. 11 No. 1 (2027).

JSCLE warmly invites experts, scholars, and practitioners from all related fields to submit their original academic articles, critical commentaries, and book reviews for future publication.
