Abstract
This research aims to examine the use of fixed attribute collocations, including the adjective red, denoting objects and realities of everyday life. The purpose of this study is to analyze the semantics of these nominations in Russian linguoculture. The relevance of this study is determined by the necessity to consider the use of fixed attribute collocations with the adjective red in everyday life. The results of the study showed that the semantics of adjective red in the names of objects and realities of everyday life is polysemic, which attracts the attention of numerous researchers in the field of linguistics. This word has different meanings, among the most frequent ones are "red", "beautiful", "revolutionary". The variety of lexical units, which reflects the ideas of Russians related to the red color, the beauty, and the communist ideals, indicates that these concepts occupy a special place in Russian language worldview.
