Worldview of Figures of Speech in Lakhon Nai verse Drama of Early Ratanakosin Period

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the worldview of poets that appear from the use of figures of speech in poetry and dramas in Lakhon nai verse drama (thai court drama) in the early Ratanakosin period. The study found that the worldview of the poets appearing from the use of figures of speech in poetry and dramas in Lakhon nai verse drama literature in the early Ratanakosin period reflects the worldview of the poets about life, status and origin, males and females, family and couples and society and culture. This figures of speech are also important and valuable in education and morale and helps readers to know the goodness and truth of life as well.
