The Application of Historical Method in the Digital World

Abstract

The historical method, in addition to being directly beneficial to historians, is used to create academic works. It can also be used as a way to reduce the risks to human life in the so-called "VUCA" situations. That are changing rapidly (volatility) which in addition to causing uncertainty situations (uncertainty) is also complex. (complexity) among the state of being unknown (ambiguity) by applying historical methods and integrating it with other knowledge  to develop good and safe living skills in 6 aspects as follows: (1) vision, (2) understanding information (understanding), (3) access points clearly (clarity), (4) have courage, (5) know how to apply (application), and (6) known adaptability / adjustment, collectively known as "VUCCAA" skill.
