FACTORS AFFECTING THE WORK EFFICIENCY OF ORGANIZATIONAL PERSONNEL LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN PHON SAWAN DISTRICT NAKHONPANOM PROVINCE

This research aimed to 1) study the operational efficiency of local government personnel in Phonsawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province, classified by personal factors, and 2) investigate factors affecting the operational efficiency of local government personnel in Phonsawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province, through quantitative research. The sample group consists of 259 local government personnel in Nakhon Phanom Province, randomly selected using stratified sampling. Statistical analysis included mean, standard deviation, and one sample t-test. The study showed that 1) the overall operational efficiency of local government workers in Phonsawan District, Nakhon Phanom Province, was at the highest level; and 2) the most important factor affecting their operational efficiency was responsibility at work; career advancement was the least important factor, with a statistically significant correlation coefficient of .662 (R) at the .05 level of significance, predicting 66% of personnel performance.
