School administration based on the principles of good governance by school administrators of Ban Dung 1 Group under the Office of Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area 3

Abstract

This research was to study level of school administration and development guidelines according to the principles of good governance of Ban Dung 1 Group. This is quantitative research. A sample group of 118 people was drawn from multi-stage sampling as proportional stratified sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level questionnaire with an IOC between 0.67-1.00 and a reliability of 0.90. Statistical analysis used frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The research findings revealed that: 1) The school administration according to good governance principles in the Ban Dung 1 group overall was at a high level, with low dispersion. When considering individual aspects, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was the participation, followed by the transparency and the rule of law. The aspect with the lowest average was the efficiency. 2) The development guidelines of school administration according to good governance principles in the Ban Dung 1 group were as follows: There should be clear measures for reporting activity results and the development of a convenient online reporting system. Appropriate reporting timelines should be set, coupled with the implementation of information technology systems. An effective internal audit committee should be established. The committee potential should continuously development. There should be appropriate budget support and the workload should manage appropriately. To encourage knowledge sharing via activities led to continuous self-development for personnel. Operations should be carried out with transparency, honesty, and adherence to ethical principles.
