Communication skills of school administrators in the Thetsarangsi Multi-School District under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Nongkhai

The objectives of this research were to study level and guidelines development for communication skills of school administrators in the Tesrangsi -Campus Group Under the Office of Nong Khai Secondary Education Service Area Province. The sample group consisted 103 persons. The tool for collecting data was rating scale questionnaire with IOC .67-1.00 and reliability .93. Data were collected via google form with response of 93, 90.29%. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The results of the study found that 1) The communication skills of school administrators were overall at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was the communication channel aspect, followed by the clarity of information aspect, and the ability of the receiver aspect. The aspect with the lowest mean was the ability of the sender aspect. 2) Guidelines for developing communication skills included avoiding the use of technical jargon, clear explaining with short and simple sentences for effective communication, regular practicing speaking and writing, seeking feedback from others understand various communication channels to choose appropriately considering convenience, speed, efficiency, location, time and the audience.Communication channels should be up- to- date, study and comprehend the topics to create accurate, complete and trustworthy content with sequence content, logical usage and simple language. The guidelines should avoid using confusing technical terms. It should build relationships and a trustworthy atmosphere with the audience through revealing, honest and respectful communication together with emphasizing the involvement of the recipient.
