Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study development guidelines for early childhood education management in schools under the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres, Thailand, and 2) evaluate the proposed development guidelines for early childhood education management in schools under the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres, Thailand. The research methodology was conducted into 2 phases. Phase 1: Exploring Development Guidelines by identifying and analyzing best practice from exemplary schools. The key informants for this phase consisted of 8 individuals, including school directors, deputy school directors, and head teachers of academics, all selected through purposive sampling. Phase 2: Expert Evaluation of Development Guidelines. In this phase, 5 experts evaluated the proposed early childhood education management guidelines. The primary instrument was an evaluation form. The quantitative data were analyzed using frequency and percentage, while qualitative data were processed through descriptive content analysis. The research findings: 1) identified five key aspects of early childhood education management development guidelines for schools under the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres, Thailand: Educational quality management, Curriculum management, Teacher and staff development, learning environment and media management, Information technology supporting learning experiences. 2) The evaluation of the proposed guidelines revealed that the overall mean and the means for all five aspects were at the highest level. These findings applied across all 5 evaluation criteria: utility, feasibility, appropriateness, accuracy, and accuracy.
