Factors of organizational resources and employee needs affecting employee engagement and operational effectiveness of 3B Group Company Limited in Vientiane Capital, Lao People’s Democratic Republic

This research aimed to 1) study organizational resource factors and employee needs of 3B Group Co., Ltd. in Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic; 2) analyze the relationship as well as direct and indirect effects of organizational resource factors and employee needs on organizational effectiveness; and 3) evaluate the goodness of fit of the structural equation model regarding organizational resource factors, employee needs, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. This research employed a quantitative research design. Data were collected from 113 employees of 3B Group Co., Ltd. in Vientiane Capital, Lao People's Democratic Republic, using a questionnaire. The data were then analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that organizational resource factors and employee needs of 3B Group Co., Ltd. in Vientiane Capital, Lao People's Democratic Republic, were overall at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that employee engagement toward the organization received the highest score for both organizational resource factors and employee needs. For operational effectiveness, both organizational resource factors and employee needs were at high levels, respectively.
