Guidelines for enhancing Vocational National Educational Test (V-NET) achievement among students under Phayao Vocational Education commission

The objectives of this research study were 1) to investigate the current state of educational development regarding the Vocational National Educational Test (V-NET) among students under Phayao Vocational Education and 2) to propose guidelines for improving the V-NET achievement of these students. The research sample consisted of 140 government teachers from educational institutions under the Phayao Vocational Education Comission, supplemented by three qualified experts. The research instruments comprised two types:1) a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient of .990 and 2) a semi-structured interview form. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results revealed that: 1) The overall current state of V-NET development among students under Phayao Vocational Education Commission was at a high level. When considering individual dimensions, systematic thinking yielded the highest mean, corresponding to the highest level, whereas English proficiency based on the CEFR framework record the lowest mean score, remaining at a moderate level. 2) A total of 14 development guidelines were formulated to enhance the V-NET achievement of students under the Phayao Vocational Education Commission.
