Explanation of the Criminal Law R.S. 127

Abstract

Criminal law is very important area of law since it has mandatory measures in a way that restricts the right and freedom of an offender. The major source of the Thai Criminal Law is the “Penal Code”, which most principles are inherited from the “Criminal Law R.S. 127”. Therefore, study of the Penal Code and the Criminal Law R.S. 127 are simultaneously required for a deep understanding in criminal law. In this article, I have recommended a book written by Professor Dr.Yud Sang-uthai, “Explanation of the Criminal Law R.S. 127”, published by Winyuchon. The recommender has presented the meaning of criminal law, the importance of the study of the Criminal Law R.S. 127, as well as the main contents and features of this book.
