Anyone who has graduated from law school and started a career in law will exactly know that the skill set required for the profession cannot sufficiently be fulfilled by textbook knowledge alone. A “Moot Court Competition” organized by TU Law Center of the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University is one of the activities that provides undergraduate law students an opportunity to apply their legal knowledge from the classroom, develop critical skills for the legal profession and gain a virtual experience in court proceedings at the same time. This article does not aim to focus on presenting the front-end competition’s landscape in which the reader could achieve it from their college seniors. In this article, the authors, as the Examination Committee composing the exam and judging the presentation of the oral advocacy, aim to reveal the perspectives of what we expect to see from the participants in each step in the whole competition. We anticipate this article will benefit those who are interested in participating in the competition as well as law students who are working towards their path to becoming legal professionals.
