Guidelines and Measures of Criminal Punishment According to the Offence Arising from the Use of Cheque Act B.E. 2534

Abstract

This article aims to propose guidelines and measures for determining criminal penalties under the Offence Arising from the Use of Cheque act B.E. 2534 to be in line with the current situation. The proposed solutions also aim to reduce the use of imprisonment that consumes the state budget from the phase of trials to the execution, as well as not to adversely affect the rights and freedoms of the citizens due to the business operation or the payment of debt under the contract.
