FACTORS AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE IN THE "SPORTS CITY" OF UDON THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
This research aimed to identify factors related to quality of life. We analyzed information on personal qualifications, health status, economics, social-life, environmental factors, and housing pertaining to the quality of life of people in the "Sports City" of Udon Thani. 400 males and females over the age of 20 were sampled using a multi-stage sampling method. Data was collected via questionnaires and were analyzed using percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The average quality of life was found to be good at level 3.93 (S.D. = 0.61). Results pertaining to the factors that affect quality of life: housing (X5) 4.34 (S.D. = 0.79), health factors (X1) 4.08 (S.D. = 0.68), social factors (X3) 3.93 (S.D. = 0.80), environmental factors (X4) 3.92 (S.D. = 0.83), and economic factors (X2) 3.66 (S.D. =0.90). The coefficient of multiple correlations (R) is 0.664 and can explain the variation in the quality-of-life people in Udon Thani Province, "Sports City," with statistical significance at the levels of.01 and 0.05.
