Abstract

This research was aimed at studying Chinese language education management at the secondary school level in Northeast Thailand, focusing on three aspects: 1. Chinese language curriculum management at the secondary level, including general information about secondary schools in Northeast Thailand, course material management, and support for and promotion of Chinese language courses; 2. Students and expectations for secondary school graduates; and 3. Background information of teachers and Chinese language teacher development. The study population consisted of 32 Chinese language teachers employed by secondary schools in Northeast Thailand. Findings were analyzed using content description along the study objectives in details.
