Community Developing Based on the Diversity of Community Funds Ban Nonsawan, Pangkwong Sub-district, Muang District, Sakon Nakhon

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to study the community developing based on the diversity of community funds, Ban Nonsawan, Pangkwong sub-district, Muang district, Sakon Nakhon province and using a qualitative research methodology. Data were collected from interviews, then the obtained data were analyzed for content. There were 8 key informants. The research results revealed that Ban Nonsawan was a community with environmental advantages.  There were natural water sources surrounding and complete utilities and facilities. Therefore, it was conducive to the development of community economic groups, which consisted of groups for saving for production, folk herb, weaving, dairy cows, manure, village and urban community fund, rice bank, and village women groups. Factors affecting the sustainability for the community fund groups were good management, strong social capital, local wisdom and external networks.
